The International Admissions Staff Training Program supports Nova Scotia’s post-secondary admissions staff in enhancing their skills in assessing academic credentials from around the world. This training program will help support our admissions professionals to deliver high-quality service to prospective international students applying to Nova Scotia post-secondary institutions. 

This program, delivered in partnership with Ecctis, will provide access to best-in-class training for all international admissions professionals to ensure they have accurate, up-to-date information on international education systems and how best to assess credentials from schools around the world. 

Ecctis’ custom-built training program covers information on education systems in multiple target countries and provides a framework for assessing fraud and student academic credentials. The program will also include an Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada admissions compliance audit for all Nova Scotia post-secondary institutions.
