Counsellors

As a counsellor, you play a vital role in supporting the diverse student populations found in post-secondary institutions worldwide. We recognize the pivotal role you play in nurturing the growth and well-being of students; we want to help by providing you with all the information you’ll need to assist students in making the decision about their international education journey.

The public education system in Canada is well-respected around the world. In Nova Scotia, our graduates benefit from the experience of being an international student while living in safe and welcoming communities. You can be confident that any student you counsel to pursue an international education in Nova Scotia will be challenged, supported, and provided with unique learning opportunities that will help prepare them for a successful future.

Counsellors Familiarization Tour

Organized collaboratively by EduNova and member universities,  the 2026 Summer Counsellor tour welcomes attendees from across the globe who gain the opportunity to not only tour Nova Scotia educational institutions, but also experience the warmth, beauty, and hospitality of the province.

This tour has gained a strong reputation among counsellors due to the quality and pace of activities. It affords counsellors the opportunity to experience the beauty and culture of Nova Scotia by visiting local tourist sites, participating in activities, and equips counsellors with the information they need to promote Nova Scotia as a prime study destination.

"This tour was an incredible learning experience. Each university showcased some of their amazing programs and special facilities that really highlighted the student experience. I came away from the tour with an abundance of knowledge that helps me work with my students who wish to seek an education in Canada.”
