The Building Employment Skills for Successful Transitions (BEST) Conference is designed to equip international students with essential pre-employment services, support, and training. Our goal is to provide the necessary tools, resources, and connections to help students forge successful careers and effectively integrate into the Nova Scotian job market. The conference inforporates a range of workshops, networking events, and panels, facilitating the exchange of ideas and strategies and empowering international students to develop employment skills for a successful transition into the workplace.

Procedure for BEST Conference Registration

• Download the iCent app from Google Play or App Store.
• Open the app and enter the institution country as "Canada."
• Enter the institution as "EduNova."
• Enter your institution email ID on the login screen. 
• Enter the PIN received on your institution email ID.
• Complete the questionnaires as prompted.
• Once you have access to the app home screen, take a look at the agenda under the "Conference Agenda" menu
• Make a note of the sessions you want to attend; please note that you can attend only one of the two concurrent sessions in a particular time slot. 
• Under the "Session" menu, RSVP to each session you plan to attend.
• Your registration for the sessions are now complete.

If you are already an iCent app user: 

• Go to your user profile>settings>sign out.
• The app will take you back to institution country selection page.
• follow the steps as mentioned above.

Please note that if you need to lg back into your institution app, you will need to log out of the BEST Conference app and log in with the same email ID that you have used to log in previously for your academic institution. Your progress between the apps will not be lost.
