Study and Stay™ Capstone Graduation

On July 3rd, we gathered with distinguished guests, friends, and family to celebrate the graduation of our 93 Study and Stay™ — Nova Scotia Program Capstone students. Their hard work and dedication have paid off, and we proudly announce them as the next generation of leaders in Nova Scotia. With their talent and enthusiasm, we can't wait to see the amazing things they will achieve!

We were incredibly fortunate to have the Honourable Brian Wong, Minister of Nova Scotia’s Department of Advanced Education, support the event and share his inspiring words. A special thank you goes to Ava Czapalay, Deputy Minister of Labour, Skills and Immigration, for her convocation address and moving story. We also appreciate the Honourable Lena Metlege Diab, QC, Member of Parliament for Halifax West and representative of ACOA, for speaking at and attending all of EduNova's graduation ceremonies. Dr. Robert Summerby-Murray, President of Saint Mary's University and Chair of EduNova's Board of Directors, delivered an eloquent closing address, and we are grateful for the support of MP Andy Fillmore.

We thank Amit Chahar and Suchona Rani Singha for being wonderful emcees! Our gratitude also goes to Nigar Zindani and Alyne Teixeira for sharing their amazing mentor/mentee stories.

International students and immigrants are crucial to Nova Scotia's development and success. Their diverse perspectives, talents, and contributions drive innovation and growth, making our province a vibrant and dynamic place to live. EduNova is grateful to play a part in these students' success stories.

Join the Study and Stay™ Alumni Network
We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Study and Stay™ Alumni Network, a vibrant community for our past Study and Stay students. This network aims to keep alumni connected as they navigate their careers and lives in Nova Scotia. Through this initiative, graduates will have the opportunity to maintain meaningful relationships, access exclusive resources, and continue to be part of the supportive and dynamic environment that helped them thrive during their studies.

The Study and Stay™ Alumni Network is a testament to our commitment to fostering lifelong connections and ensuring our alumni remain integral members of the Nova Scotia community.

Nova Scotia International Counsellors Tour - July 13 - 16, 2024
We are delighted to announce the recent Nova Scotia International Counsellors Tour, organized in partnership with five of our post-secondary members. During this tour, international counsellors had the opportunity to explore the campuses of Acadia University, Mount Saint Vincent University, Saint Mary's University, St. Francis Xavier University, and the University of King's College.

This immersive experience provided a comprehensive overview of the diverse programs and unique opportunities each institution offers, along with a taste of the rich culture that shapes Nova Scotia and their respective communities.

The tour underscores the importance of our member institutions collaborating to create enriching experiences that showcase the best of Nova Scotia. Initiatives like this are crucial in fostering global connections and promoting the outstanding educational landscape of our province!
