Review the 2024 Anual General Meeting Minutes
Thank you to all of our dedicated members who attended yesterday's Annual General Meeting! It’s been a challenging year, but together we’ve reached some incredible milestones.
From expanding educational opportunities to strengthening our partnerships, EduNova and our members have continued to push boundaries and make meaningful progress in supporting Nova Scotia as Canada’s premier education destination.
We are so grateful for your unwavering commitment and collaboration. Let’s keep building on this momentum in the year ahead and continue to showcase the best of Nova Scotia’s education sector to the world.
EduNova Welcomes Chantal Brine as Interim
We are very pleased to welcome Ms. Chantal Brine as Interim President and CEO, on a part-time basis. Chantal is an experienced entrepreneur, human resources and management consultant and is no stranger to EduNova, having worked with the organization for over nine years. Chantal was EduNova’s partner in the creation of the very first Study and Stay Program. Her knowledge of EduNova, its internal operations and mission make her an ideal leader during this time of transition.
The Board will commence the search for a permanent President and CEO in January 2025.
Introducing EduNova's Member of the Month
Meet Lauren Cullen, a dedicated member and chair of EduNova's Student Recruitment Committee and the Director of Student Recruitment and Enrollment at Saint Mary's University in Halifax. We'd like to thank Lauren for her continued support and efforts in driving our mission forward.
Each month, EduNova will recognize one of its members for their outstanding dedication and commitment to helping drive our initiative forward. This is a small token of our appreciation and a look behind the curtain at those truly making the work our organization does possible.
Foundations Financial Literacy Webinar Series
The Study and Stay™ Foundations team in partnership with the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) will be hosting two webinars on Financial Literacy for newcomers to Canada. These sessions will focus on topics such as financial literacy and budgeting, newcomer credit and its importance, home buying and basic investing principles.
